Youth Garden Group

The Horseshoe Lake Youth Garden Group, sponsored by the Hughes Town & Country Garden Club met on June 28, at the Horseshoe Lake Library. They checked on their plants and dead headed them before they worked on decorating planting containers. Once they were done with their containers then they planted marigolds and cocks comb and took the plants home with them to take care of. One of the Garden Club members found 7 Swallow Tail. A couple were still in caterpillar stage and were taken home by some of the Youths. The other five are in chrysalis stage. Their next meeting will be on July 12, when they will take a garden tour at Katherine and Francis’s house.

Without you this would not have been a successful event.
