David Wayne Conner, 54, of Yukon, Oklahoma, former of West Memphis, passed away Tuesday, June, 20, 2017 in Yukon, Oklahoma.

David moved to Yukon in January of 2010. He served in the Army National Guard for eight years.

David went to college and completed the requirements to become a truck driver. He drove for 32 years altogether. The last 18 years of his life he worked for YRC.

David was preceded in death by his father, Carroll Hugh Conner; and his grandparents, Henry and Louise Simon.

He is survived by his wife, Krystal; three daughters, Chasidy, Destiny and Ravin; three sons, Chris, David and James; his mother, Mary Annette Rivas; his father, Robert Rivas; brothers, Carroll Hugh Conner of Warren and Jimmy Rogers of Somerville, Tennessee; sisters, Jean Johnson of Ohio, Tracy Caldwell of Horn Lake, Mississippi, Barbara Steele of Marion, Starla Conner of Whiteville, Tennessee, Mary Freeman and Janie German of Somerville, Tennessee.

Janice Marice Jones

Janice Marice Jones, 45, of Earle, passed away Sunday, June 25, 2017 in Memphis, Tennessee.

Janice was a member of the Mt. Vernon M.B.

Church where she sang in the choir until her death.

Janice leaves to cherish her memory, one son, LaQuienten J. Jones of the home; her mother, Gearlean (JD) Johnson of Earle; her father, George (Rhonda) Jones Sr. of Earle; two brothers, George (Angela) Jones Jr.

of Earle and Albert (Jimmie) Dorsey of Marion; two sisters, Joyces (Mark) Ponder of Wynne and Annetter Jones who proceeded her in death.

Homegoing celebration for Janice M. Jones will be on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at 12 noon at the Whole Truth Gospel Church, 524 2nd St., Earle. Visitation will be Friday, July 7, 2017, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Woodard Funeral Home, 350 F. Street, in Wynne.

Burial at Paradise Garden Cemetery in Edmondson.

Tommie Lee McGee

Tommie Lee McGee, 78, of Gilmore, passed away Wednesday, June 28, 2017. Visitation is scheduled for Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Olive Grove Church with services beginning at 11 a.m. Burial in Gilmore Cemetery.

Wolfe Brothers Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include two daughters, Pam Zackory and Tommie Morris; four sons, Anthony McGee of Gilmore, Joe Thomas of St. Louis, Missouri, Jerome McGee and James McGee both of Chiocago; a sister, Julia Johnson; four brothers, Chester McGee of Turrell, Ben McGee of Memphis, Tennessee, Samuel McGee of Connecticut, and Nathaniel McGee of Little Rock; and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Alma Lane Owens

Alma Lane Owens, age 84, passed away on Monday, July 3, 2017 at her home in West Memphis, Arkansas.

The daughter of Louie and Edith Grant she was born in Weona, Arkansas on Dec. 10, 1932.

She was a member of Angels Way Baptist Church in Marion and a retired CNA in Trenton, Tennessee.

Alma is survived by her husband, Bill Owens; seven sons, Danny (Jeanette) Pitts of Martin, Tennessee, Jimmy L. Pitts of Savanna, Tennessee, Raine (Debbie) Pitts of Malvern, Ricky (Betty) Pitts of Lexia, Daniel (Kay) Pitts of Brinkley, Jeffrey Pitts of Brickeys and Mark (Laura) Pitts of Perryville; three daughters, Cathy (Eddie) Graves of Hot Springs, Allie (Anthony) Harris of West Memphis and Pamela (Greggory) Gibbs of Marion; sisters, Marice (Don) Wells of Florida, Helen (Don) Siminski of Michigan and Carolyn (Allen) Melanson of Bartlett, Tennessee; 24 grandchildren, 49 great grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Visitation will be 9 a.m.

until noon, Thursday July 6, at Angels Way Baptist Church in Marion.

Services will be 12 noon, following visitation at Angels Way Baptist Church in Marion.

Nannie Dunlap Redmond

Nannie Dunlap Redmond, 69, of Chicago, Illinois, formerly of Marion, passed away Wednesday, June 28, 2017 in Chicago. Visitation is scheduled for Saturday from 10 to 10:45 a.m. at Wolfe Brothers Funeral Home. Services at 11 a.m.

also at Wolfe Brothers with burial in Paradise Garden Cemetery.

Survivors include her husband, Maurice Redmond of Chicago; a daughter Jackie Blair of West Memphis; two sons, Jerry Boatman and Peter Boatman both of Marion; a sister, Bobbie Dunlap of Chicago; 15 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
