Brianna Ham awarded Dr. Lynn Russell Memorial Scholarship
WMCS alum receives award to further studies at Harding
Crittenden County Extension Service Brianna Ham, a current student at Harding University and graduate of West Memphis Christian School, was awarded the Dr. Lynn Russell Memorial Scholarship on June 6, at the Arkansas Extension Homemakers State Conference held in Hot Springs.
The $1,000 scholarship is awarded annually to a college junior majoring in Family and Consumer Sciences. Brianna is a member of the Harding University Family and Consumer Science Club (HUFCS) and Kappa Omicron Nu (KON), the Family and Consumer Sciences Honors Society.
This summer she is interning with the Crittenden County Family and Consumer Sciences Agent, Meredith Wayman, and will assist with the “Babysitting Basics”, “Cooking Matters at the Store” and the “Kids in the Kitchen” programs to be held by the Extension Office.
