Kappas keeping busy in the community

During the week of May 14-21, the members of the West Memphis-Marion (AR) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., celebrated Senior Kappa Week. Above: Clint Williams, Senior Kappa Chairman, and the Senior Kappa committee wanted to recognize the achievements of those brothers 60+ years and older as well as show appreciation to local seniors in the community. Below: Activities included distributing lotions, soaps, and socks to nursing home residents at Willowbend at Marion (Marion, AR) and West Memphis Health and Rehab (West Memphis, AR). The chapter hosted a Senior Kappa Brotherhood Breakfast in honor of the following 9 Senior Kappas: Dennis Aikens, Clifton Avant, Sr., Freddie Avant, William Ball, Carl Cater, Lloyd Franklin, Sr., Dave Johnson, LV Liggins, Jr., and Joe Sims. Each participant was given a gold Kappa Shield lapel and a certificate recognizing their life-long achievements.
