AHTD plans overnight lane shut-down on I- 55

Improvements on I- 55 require lane closures in West Memphis tonight

Arkansas Highway and Transportation Dept.

CRITTENDEN COUNTY — Installation of Weigh In Motion hardware will require overnight lane closures in West Memphis, according to Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) officials.

Weather permitting; crews will alternately close I-55 northbound lanes to install updated weigh in motion hardware between the I-55 Mississippi River Bridge and the Bridgeport Road Exit (Exit 1). This closure will occur between 8 p.m. tonight and 8 a.m. tomorrow.
