Come out for a free meal at VFW meet and greet

Marion/West Memphis, Arkansas (Crittenden County) VFW Post 5225, is holding a Meet & Greet on Saturday, March 14, at 6:00 p.m.
“We are welcoming all veterans here within the community to come out and share a free meal with member of Post 5225.,” said veteran’s service officer Mickey Littlejohn.
“Post 5225 needs the help of all Veterans here in the community to work together in ensuring all veteran needs are being met, and also for the Post 5225 to be aware of the needs of our fellow Veterans who reside here in the community. We cannot help and/or support you when we are unaware of the needs of our fellow veteran soldiers.”
Littlejohn said Post 5225 is here to help veterans and their families.
“So come on out and meet other Veterans that are making a difference here within the community,” he said.
Post 5225 provides several functions here in the community: Bubbies Poppies, Veterans’ Day ceremonies, Labor Day ceremonies, serving as Honor Guardsmen, participating in offi- cial Flag Burning & Retirement ceremonies.
