West Memphis announces MLK holiday sanitation schedule

City will run alternate pickup dates next week

For the upcoming Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday on Monday, Jan. 16, the City of West Memphis’ garbage collection service schedule will be changed, according to Rhonda Standridge with the West Memphis Public Works Department.

The schedule for that week will be as follows: No service on Monday, January 16th; Monday, January 16th & Tuesday, January 17th customers will be serviced on Tuesday, January 17th; Regular schedule resumes on Wednesday, January 18th.
