Minimal disruption of traffic expected for work tonight near College Blvd.
Arkansas Highway & Transportation Department CRITTENDEN COUNTY — Contractors installing an overhead message board for Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) will require a temporary detour of Interstate 40 traffic in West Memphis, according to Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) officials.
The eastbound lanes of the I-40 will be closed at State Highway 118 (Exit 275) for approximately 2 hours on Wednesday night, December 14, weather permitting. Traffic will be detoured onto the access ramps for State Highway 118 (College Blvd.) for the duration of the closure.
Drivers should exercise caution when approaching and traveling through all highway work zones.

Chili for the Blue Devils
The West Memphis Athletic Booster Club hosted a chili supper to benefit the organization last Friday night at the high school's cafeteria. Also, the organization held a silent auction on items such as signed footballs, signed basketballs and other sports memorabilia.
