– Friday, Dec. 9 from 4:30 to 6 p.m. in the West Memphis High School Cafeteria sponsored by the West Memphis Athletic Booster Club. Eat in or carry out. Tickets are $5 and may be purchased by calling Holmes Hammett at 870-735-1134 or Carolyn Chrestman at 870733-4259. There will be a limited number of cinnamon rolls that may be purchased for $8.50 a dozen with the purchase of a Chili Supper ticket.

Blue Devil Chili Supper – The West Memphis Athletic Booster Club will host a chili supper/silent auction Friday, Dec. 9 from 4:30-6 p.m. at the Academies of West Memphis cafeteria. Tickets are $5 and the supper includes chili, crackers, cinnamon roll and drink. Dine in or take out. The supper precedes an evening of Blue Devil basketball at the Lehr Arena.

Coats for Kids – Victory Church is giving away brand new coats for kids at 1800 N. Missouri St., Suite 1B, West Memphis on Saturday, Dec. 10 from 10 a.m. until noon. Sizes range from infant (12 months) to boys and girls size 18. Children must be present to get a coat. First come – First served.

Community Christmas Celebration – New Hope Baptist Mission, 377 Estate Dr., Lakeshore Estate Mobile Home Community Saturday, Dec. 10. Doors open at noon for a Biblical Christmas and gospel presentation followed by a birthday party for Jesus and gifts for children under age 18. Children must register and be accompanied by a parent or church chaperone.

Main Street West Memphis Saturdays with Santa – Santa visit with photos Saturday Dec. 10 and Dec. 17, 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at 311 E. Broadway.

Annual Tree Lighting and Pictures with Santa – Earle Chamber of Commerce at the Earle square Saturday, Dec. 10 at 5 p.m.

AARP Drivers Safety Course – Tuesday, Dec. 13, from noon to 4 p.m. at the West Memphis Library. The course is open to everyone, NO TEST, with completion of the class you will receive a form to file with your car insurance company for a three year discount. AARP members $15, nonmembers $20.
