Routine inspection requires temporary lane closures on I-55 Mississippi River Bridge

Expect delays for daily commuters

Arkansas Highway & Transportation Department CRITTENDEN COUNTY — A routine inspection of the I-55 Mississippi River Bridge between Memphis and West Memphis requires temporary lane closures, according to Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) officials.

• The outside southbound lane of the I-55 Mississippi River Bridge will be closed from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. daily, from Monday, December 5 through Thursday, December 8, weather permitting.

• The outside northbound lane of the I-55 Mississippi River Bridge will be closed from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

daily, from Wednesday, December 7 through Thursday,

December 15, weather permitting. This closure will not occur on Friday, Saturday or Sunday.
