Christmas on the Square

Holiday festivities abounded at the courthouse square in Marion last Thursday night during the annual tree lighting and visit from Santa Claus. A special table was set up to let kids pen their Christmas wish lists. They could also ride the Polar Express around the courtyard and gaze at the holiday lights. Local holiday events continue this week in West Memphis (tomorrow at 7 p.m.) and Marion (Thursday at 6:30 p.m.) with the annual Christmas parades.
