Local Commentary I don't know about you but I think I'm still a little full from the Holiday that just passed. I know for a lot of you that has some younger ones in the house you are thinking about the fat guy in the red suit and it being just around the corner and all that shopping that you got to do and all that decorating you are about to start doing. You are starting to think it is all kind of mind blowing.
I know that all you out there that have young ones with all those gifts that they want old Santa or really Daddy and Mama clause to bring them and we don't want to disappoint them and one reason is they think that we can do just about everything. It is amazing what some of us will put ourselves through so that we can make this Santa guy look good on one night out of the year. But you know we have been doing that for years and years. If we are ever going to have a little down time it is probably right about now because after this week is gone it's head down and full speed ahead. I hope every one had a great thanksgiving and all your love ones were well and safe and you enjoyed all the family time that you had together.
I know that we have a tendency to get so caught up in the whole thing that it seems everything else gets put on the back burner. So what ever you got going or the things that you have to do, always make room and time for your thoughts to stay on the one that loved you so much that he was willing to give up his only son to go to a cruel death on a cross for you and me because that is the true Thanksgiving. I do understand that when it's all over there is always the credit card debt and that is something else that we have to think about as we move into the New Year.
Sometimes you get to thinking that there just isn't enough time in a day to do the things that you think is the most important when in the end you realize that they weren't. A word of advise to you from me you just have to take a little me time along the way also. So try not to get so caught up in the whole thing. Believe it or not there is other things in your life that is more important that all this madness that takes place about this time every year.
It seems to me that every where you look there is some store trying to separate you from your money. Come and shop in my store because I got the best deals in town where ever that town is. I have been reading where all these different stores are having this thing that they call Black Friday and I have been to a few of those in my lifetime and let me tell you they ought to be called black and blue Friday when you see how a lot of the people act.
We are just coming into the time where we need to do some reflecting on what are the most important things in our lives. I know that our thoughts sometime gets caught off guard and we seem to just let all the things that make us happy in live or at least what should make us happy in our life get put aside. Like how much God loves us and had no problem proving it by just one major deed and that deed should never be completely out of our mind.
I know that we don't mean for that to happen but it seems that it does. I hope that with this last holiday and you had any bad feeling that needed to be fixed with family members or friends that you will take care of it. I assure you that down the road you will be glad you did in case you never get another chance to take care of it. It is sort of like you not taking care of that man dying on the cross thing and I also assure you that there is nothing any more important than that.
I also assure you that if you don't take care of it and you never get another chance to do it then it will be the most important thing in your life that you will ever let get away from you and that will be for all eternity. So first things first take care of that and then just kick back a little and enjoy the moment. I know that it is hard to do some times but just do it without even thinking about it.
I do understand that this time of the year can be very stressful but try hard to not let it get you down. So God bless you and your family and I hope you have a wonderful time with all this chaotic time that is just ahead of you.
