Good job West Memphis on the Christmas tree lighting!!!

The weather was good, the people were friendly, and it was a good time where everyone came together!!! Ready for the parade in a couple of weeks [ Editor’s Note: I guess I will never outgrow my love of these types of events, so I’m glad you enjoyed it. I’m not sure the city can take credit for the weather though… heh heh. Just kidding. Anyway, let’s hope the nice weather holds out. It seems like every other year, it’s like 12 degrees or something when it’s Christmas Parade time. I think one year not too long ago, it got rained out, and then the rainout date got rained out and then, it was like, just to heck with it]

*** don’t forget to support your local businesses this weekend! SHOP LOCAL [ Editor’s Note: Unfortunately, this won’t reach the masses until after the frenzy of Black Friday weekend ( and Shop Local Saturday, or whatever they call it) is all said and done… hopefully, with no toygrabbing- related tragedies.

But it’s still several weeks until Christmas, so there’s plenty of time to look around the local retail scene for that perfect holiday gift for your special someone]

Because that sounds like an awesome idea!!! But really, I guess I’m probably supposed to be able to cipher what this is about and develop a witty response to it, but I’ve got nothing. I’m even looking through the last few days’ worth of papers, and I suppose there are a few things it could be about, but nothing is jumping out at me right now.
