West Memphis holiday sanitation schedule

City alters pickup days for Thanksgiving week

Rhonda Standridge from the City of West Memphis Public Works Department has announced the following changes to the City of West Memphis’s trash collection schedule due to the Thanksgiving holiday on Thursday, Nov. 24 and Friday, Nov. 25: Garbage service will be changed that week as follows.

Monday, Nov. the 21 and Tuesday, Nov. 22 customers will be serviced on Monday, Nov. 21 (today).

Wednesday, Nov. 23 and Thursday, Nov. 24 customers will be serviced on Tuesday, Nov. 22.

Friday, Nov. 25 customers will be serviced on Wednesday, Nov. 23.

There will be no sanitation services on Thursday, Nov. 24 and Friday, Nov. 25. Regular collection schedules will resume on Monday, Nov. 28.
