OBITUARIES
Annie Mae Goad, 82, of Marked Tree, departed this life on Monday, Nov. 14, 2016.
She was born on April 22, 1934 to Wheeler and Annie Tidwell Gibbs.
She was of the Baptist faith. Annie is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Goad; parents, Wheeler and Annie Tidwell Gibbs; brother, Ray Gibbs; and two sisters, Margaret Collins and Kate Guy.
She is survived by three daughters, Diane Hooker of Marion, Gail Ross (John) of Tyronza and Janice Tatum (Dean) of Marion; brother, Nelson Gibbs of Rockford, Illinois; 12 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Funeral Service will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at Murphy Funeral Home in Marked Tree.
The family will receive friends from 12 p.m. until service time.
Interment will follow at Tyronza Cemetery in Tyronza, Arkansas.
Maxine Pirani, 91, of Marion, passed away Monday, Nov. 14, 2016.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Adolph Pirani; her parents, Marcus and Allie Snodgrass; and her three sisters.
She is survived by her two sons, Mark Pirani (Jane) of Marion and Peppi Pirani of Marion; her daughter, Judy Pirani of Marion; five grandchildren, Kathryn Laughter, Zoe Taylor, Melissa Neale (Alex), Kelsey Hensley (Ross), Sam Pirani (Andrea); and five great-grandchildren, Lake Laughter, Lexie Claire Laughter, Anna Sophia Pirani, Michael Pirani, and Darby Hensley.
Memorials may be made to Restoration Life Church – Building Fund formerly Marion First Assembly of God.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, from 6 to 8 p.m.
at Trinity in the Fields Anglican Church. Services will be on Thursday, at 10:30 a.m. at Trinity in the Fields Anglican Church. Interment will follow at Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion.

MHS Drama presents “Willy Wonka”
