Election Commission meets this afternoon
Board will review, provisional, contested ballots
ralphhardin@gmail.com The Crittenden County Election Commission will meet this afternoon, starting at 4 p.m.
The purpose of the meeting is to review and count provisional and questionable absentee ballots from the General Election on Nov. 8. The review is the final step in the election process before the certification of the vote.
The meeting will take place in the Crittenden County Election Commission in the County Office Building adjacent to the Crittenden County Courthouse in Marion. The public is invited to attend.
The commission will also be conducting a public test of the equipment that will be used in the General Runoff for the city of Earle Position 4-2. This test, which will include the Logic and Accuracy test of the election, is open to the public. The test will be done at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday Nov. 16.
