MMS Poetry Slam

Students at Marion Middle School had an opportunity to show off some of their poetic skills last week during Poetry Slam which followed the Book Fair. Students penned original poems on the spot and read them to the crowd of fellow students and parents. Ava Walker (top) and Christian Wilson (left) were some of the first students to take the microphone. There inspiration prompted other students to share their poetry which created a line of youngsters (bottom) waiting to show off their talent.
