Alvin Dean Bachkora, 91 passed away Monday, Oct. 24, 2016 at Methodist Hospital.

Born Jan. 26, 1925, in St. Michael, Nebraska. Preceded by his parents Amel and Ruth (Arp) Bachkora; two sisters, daughter, Darlene (1953) of Ravenna, Nebraska; and a son, Gary Bachkora (Bonnie) (died 2005) of West Memphis.

He leaves children, Marla Peden (Bill) of West Memphis, Marty Bachkora (Nila) of Kearney, Nebraska; eight grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

He was a Merchant Marine.

He was known for his burgundy suit, western hat, big belt buckle and cowboy boots. Please send memorials to First Assembly, West Memphis.
