Matt Hale seeks Marion Council seat

Matthew “Matt” Hale has announced his bid for the Marion City Council Jasper 1-1 seat.

“My name is Matt Hale and I am seeking your vote this election season,” said Hale. “As a lifelong resident of this great town, I hope to be a wonderful asset to our citizens and the bright future of our community. I am a proud graduate of Marion High School, and I realized after graduating college at the University of Arkansas, that I wanted to come home and make a difference in my hometown. My wife Susan and I have loved raising our two beautiful daughters here.”

Hale said he is proud of his home town.

“We have so many wonderful entities in place, and I hope to be a force that can aide and assist and efforts to continue our growth, sustain our successes, and remedy any issues we may face,” he said.

Hale touted some of his experience in serving the community.

“I have helped to serve this city previously as I was hands-on and the implementation in our cable, sewer, and street programs,” he said. “I can help provide reasonable, efficient, and economic solutions to issues we may encounter. I look at my life of experience in business with my father and my family as just the knowledgeable experience our community needs.”

Hale continued, “I proudly support our first responders – our Police Department, Fire Department, Sheriff's Department, and the myriad of volunteers behind the scene daily — the people who work so diligently to provide safety and security for our citizens.”

Hale said serving on the city council would allow him to continue helping to move Marion forward.

“I look forward to serving all citizens of Marion and always keeping an open ear to provide support and help develop solutions to issues,” said Hale. “When you head to the polls this election season, please vote for Matthew ‘Matt’ Hale.
