ralphhardin@gmail.com This weekend, come out to Marion United Methodist Church for an afternoon of fun and fellowship in honor of our local firefighters and police officers.

The first ever “Badges & Boots” Community Appreciation Day will take place from 2 to 6 p.m. at MUMC, Saturday Oct. 22. There will be sand volleyball, kids activities, food trucks, the Marion Fire Department pumper truck (waterrelated fun, weather permitting), and more.

The “Badges & Boots” Community Appreciation Day is open to anyone in the community. Come out and show your support for our local emergency responders. The event is free, and is sponsored by the MUMC Recreation Department and Marion United Methodist Church.
