Elma Howard
Elma Howard, 97, of West Memphis, died Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2016, in Regional One Health, Memphis.
Visitation Friday, Sept. 30, from 6 to 8 p.m. in Old St.
Paul M. B. Church, West Memphis. Services Saturday, Oct. 1,11 a.m. in Old St. Paul Church with visitation one hour prior to service. Burial in Paradise Garden Cemetery.
Anthony Funeral Home in charge of service. She leaves two sons, Johnny Howard of Memphis and Tommy Howard of Chicago, Illinois; one sister, Ellen Parnell of Denver, Colorado; one brother, Cater Turner, Jr. of Gary, Indiana; 50 grandchildren; 138 great grandchildren and a host of great-great grandchildren.
Eamestine Taylor
Earnestine Taylor, 71, of West Memphis, died Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2016, in Broadway Healthcare and Rehabilitation. Visitation Saturday, Oct. 1, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. in New Bethel Church of God in Christ at Hughes. Services will follow at 11:30 a.m. in the church, with burial in Paradise Garden Cemetery. Anthony Funeral Home in charge of service. She is survived by her mother, Rosie Garrion of Anthonyville; one daughter, Bobbie Taylor of West Memphis; two sons, Patrick Stinnett and Derrick Taylor of West Memphis; five sisters, Crystal Smith, Annie B.
Perkins, Linda Taylor of Anthony ville, Mary Basemore-Boyd of West Memphis and Brenda Jones of Memphis; two brothers, Junior Lee Garion and Douglas Garrion of Anthonyville; 11 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Linda Gail Williams
Linda Gail Williams, 60, of Marion, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 27,2016.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ches and Mary Williams.
She is survived by her brother, Leslie Williams (Diane) of West Memphis; three sisters, Kathy S. Russom (Dale) of Vilonia, Sheilah Poole (Ronnie) of Nesbit, Mississippi and Cheska Williams (Brian) of Paige, Texas; a step son, Ronnie Gongre of Monroe, Louisiana; a host of nieces and nephews that she loved dearly and was known to as “That’s our Aunt Linda”; and her dear friend, Catherine “Cat” Wallace.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Visitation will be on Thursday, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Roller Citizens Funeral Home. A graveside service will be on Friday, at 11 a.m. at Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion.
