Memphis Redbirds MEMPHIS, Tennessee The Memphis Redbirds unveiled their 2017 schedule Tuesday, the 20th season of affiliation with the St. Louis Cardinals.

The Redbirds open the 2017 home schedule on April 11 with a four-game series against the Colorado Springs Sky Sox, followed by a three-game set with the Oklahoma City Dodgers. The 2017 schedule also features 11 Friday games and 10 Saturday contests, and the Redbirds play at AutoZone Park leading into the 4th of July holiday from Friday, June 30 through Monday, July 3 against New Orleans. Memphis will be visited by El Paso, Albuquerque, Las Vegas and Salt Lake in 2017 after playing against those clubs on the road this year.

Information on season tickets, season ticket renewals and ticket purchases for the 2017 season, as well as details on promotions and giveaways, will be announced when finalized.

2016 In Review A total of 324,581 fans attended Memphis Redbirds games at AutoZone Park during the 2016 season, which is nearly a 17 percent increase over its total of 278,579 for the 2015 campaign.

The figures were helped by seven sellouts during the season, including Saturday, Aug. 27, when an AutoZone Park post-renovations record crowd of 11,041 jammed the stadium. The ballpark was renovated in the 2014 offseason to its current configuration. This season, the Redbirds went from averaging just over 4,000 fans per game to more than 4,700 per contest.

The Redbirds' final weekend included a celebration of the 10 millionth fan to enter AutoZone Park since it opened in 2000, as well as a visit from President and Mrs. Jimmy Carter as part of the closing ceremony of Habitat for Humanity's Carter Work Project.
