Local lords and ladies (as well as peasant folk and serfs) looking for some fun with a little historical flair only needed to head to Shelby Farms in Memphis late last month for the the 2nd Annual Mid-South Renaissance Faire. The celebration of “ye olden times” included period-approppriate dress and food, along with good old-fashioned activities such as jousting and chivalrous games.
