A Show of Support

With all of the ongoing anti-police sentiment going around, several members of the VFW Post 5225 wanted to let our local law enforcement folks know they were still very much appreciated. With a little help from Gene Stimpson’s Big Star, Dr. John Wah, and friends, the veterans were able to enjoy a barbecue feast Friday afternoon at the WMPD headquarters. “We just want them to know that we support them, that we appreciate all they do, and we wanted to say thank you for protecting us,” said Post Commander Elvin Tate (second from left).
