Marion Golf & Athletic Club to host 28th annual fundraiser

Local golfers are invited to hit the links and help support one of the area’s most active local community support groups. The 8th Street Mission for Jesus Christ’s annual golf tournament will be held at the Marion Golf & Athletic Club, 303 Club Circle in Marion, Saturday, Aug.
20. Entry includes a free barbecue lunch with all the fixings at 11:30 a.m. The tourney will be in a 4person scramble format, teeing off at 1 p.m. The cost for the event is $240 a team or $60 per person, which pays for green fees, cart and lunch. The mission is seeking hole sponsors.
