Exzavion Taivon Dent, 16, of West Memphis, passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2016. Visitation is scheduled from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Wolfe Brothers Funeral Home.

Services Saturday 11 a.m.

Saturday at First Baptist Church in West Memphis with burial in Marion Memorial Cemetery.

He leaves his father, Eric Dent and his mother, Shameka Wright; six sisters, Aaliyah Hall of Memphis, Lailah Hall, Dankieya Stringfellow, Tanerica Dent and Rojera Eason, all of West Memphis, and Tamerica Fowler of Little Rock; seven brothers, Demerrius Stewart, Eric Clay, Eric Dent and Latrevious Watson all of West Memphis, Braylon Bradford of Mississippi, Octavius Hall Jr. and Zavious Hall of Memphis; his grandmothers, Angela Wright and Juanita Wilson; his grandfathers, Freddie Atkins Sr. and Joe Armstrong; his great-grandmothers, Bobbie Gladney and Jessie Atkins; and his greatgrandfather, Johnnie Watson.

Eathel Mae Green

Eathel Mae Green, 73, of Marion, died Sunday, July 3, 2016 in Methodist University Hospital. Visitation Friday, July 8, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Anthony-West Memphis Funeral Home North Chapel.

Services Saturday, 11 a.m. in Kingdom Seekers Ministries, West Memphis. Burial in Walnut Grove Church Cemetery at Clarkedale. She is survived by a daughter, Peggy Green Holloway of Marion; one sister, Alean Robinson of West Memphis; five brothers, Albert Crayton, James Crayton of Detroit, Michigan, Garfield White, Jr., Cornelius White of Marion and Sylvester White of West Memphis; two grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Walter Lee Leaks

Walter Lee Leaks, 70, of Crenshaw formerly of West Memphis, died Monday, July 4, 2016 in Crenshaw, Mississippi. Visitation Friday, July 8 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Anthony Funeral Home South Chapel. Services Saturday, July 9, 12 noon in the south chapel with burial in Marion Memorial Cemetery. He is survived by two sons, Pierre Dermon Leaks of Pas Christian, Mississippi and Larnell Fernando Leaks of San Antonio, Texas; one sister, Carolyn A. Leaks of Memphis; five brothers, Willie B. Leaks of Chicago, Illinois, Wilfred U. Leaks of Marietta, Georgia, Donnie H. Leaks of West Memphis, Larry V. Leaks of Bartlett, Tennessee and Rodney C.

Leaks of Batesville, Mississippi and five grandchildren.

Sherry Pulliam Murphy

Sherry Pulliam Murphy, 70, of Dunwoody, Georgia died Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at Northside Hospital.

Sherry was born in Magnolia, Arkansas and raised in West Memphis, the oldest daughter of Ione 'Nonie' (Otterson) and Ray Pulliam.

Sherry was a 1964 graduate of West Memphis High School. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Memphis State University in 1968 with a minor in English and a Master of Science in Social Work at University of Tennessee in 1971.

She began a long and distinguished career at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Memphis in 1971 as a Clinical Social Worker. She transferred to the VAMC in Atlanta in 1974, where she continued her work as a Social Worker and rose to Business Manager of Mental Health. Sherry was recognized for her hard work, intelligence, and integrity. After 36 years with the VA, she retired in 2007 as Executive Assistant to the Director.

After retirement, Sherry continued to stay active by pursuing hobbies, such as sewing, group exercise, and grandchild wrangling. She was a passionate and avid reader, being a member of multiple book clubs. Sherry joined the Dunwoody Woman's Club in 2011 and found her second calling in community service. She served not only as the President of the DWC in 2015-16 but also the President of the Dunwoody Club Forest Neighborhood Association, and she enjoyed her volunteer time through out the Dunwoody community. She was an active member and served on the Altar Guild for St. Martin in the Fields Episcopal Church.

She is survived by her husband of 38 years, James D.

Murphy III; her two daughters, Jessica Murphy of Atlanta, Georgia and Meredith (Murphy) Stanton of Pinehurst, North Carolina; her son-in-law, Daniel R.

Stanton III; her two grandsons, Murphy Stanton and Miller Stanton; her three brothers, Carter Pulliam of Proctor, Richard Pulliam of Bartlett, Tennessee, Bruce Pulliam of West Memphis; and her sister, Rikka Pulliam of West Memphis.

A funeral service will be held Sunday, July 10th at 1 p.m. at St. Martin in the Fields Episcopal Church 3110 Ashford Dunwoody Rd., NE, Atlanta, GA 30319 with reception to follow at the church. Memorial gifts can be made to Dunwoody Woman's Club PO Box 88664 Dunwoody, GA 30356 for the Sherry P. Murphy Memorial Scholarship.

Annie Cantrell Smith

Annie Cantrell Smith, 64, of West Memphis, died Friday, July 1, 2016. Visitation Friday, July 8, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Anthony Funeral Home South State Room.

Services Saturday, July 9, 11 a.m. in New Mt. Zion M. B.

Church, West Memphis with visitation one hour prior to service. Burial in Marion Memorial Cemetery. She is survived by her husband, Ronald Smith of Little Rock; two daughters, Nichole T.

Bailey and Keysha D. Bailey of West Memphis; two sons, Ronald R. Smith, Jr. and Christopher Smith of West Memphis; two sisters, Joyce Ann Williamson of Canton, Ohio and Linda Faye Randolph of Wynne; seven brothers, Melvin Cantrell of West Memphis, Earnest Cantrell, Vernest Cantrell, Ace Jewell Edwards, Jr., Dewayne Cantrell of Wynne, Robert James Cantrell of Youngstown, Ohio and Calvin Cantrell, Milwaukee, Wisconsin; 8 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
