Caitlyn Rains earns honors in 2016 Pinto World Championships

‘ I’m Just That Good’ lives up to name in competition

–Caitlyn Rains of Marion competed at the 51st annual Pinto World Championship Horse Show at the Built Ford Tough Livestock Complex in Tulsa, Okla., that took place June 13-25, 2016.

Rains achieved great success at this year’s Pinto World Championship earning two World Champion titles in Youth Western Pleasure, Solid class and the Ideal Pinto Western, Solid class. Rains would not have been able to achieve such success without her Solid Pinto, I’m Just That Good.

Each June, the Pinto Horse Association of America, Inc., hosts the world’s largest gathering of Pinto horses, ponies and miniatures at the Built Ford Tough Livestock Complex in Tulsa, Okla. The 13-day competition showcased talented equines and exhibitors in a wide array of disciplines including jumping, showmanship, driving, pleasure and halter.

In addition to equine performances, Youth exhibitors showed their competitive spirit outside the show ring in the Youth Horse Judging Contest.

Exhibitors from 45 states and three countries, including Australia, Sweden and Denmark, converged on the Pinto World Championship Horse Show with 1,282 Pintos of every size making up nearly 31,000 judged class entries, making the Pinto World Championship the largest horse show in the United States.

Incorporated in 1956, the Pinto Horse Association of America was formed to encourage the promotion of quality horses, ponies and miniatures with color and to establish a registry for maintaining their pedigrees and records. Currently, the association serves approximately

72,000 members

and boasts more than 150,000 registered Pintos.
