Monday is the Fourth of July, and West Memphis city offices will be closed. Sanitation crews will also not run on the holiday.

Rhonda Standridge from the West Memphis Public Works Department has issued the alternate sanitation service schedule for next week.

“Independence Day holiday on Monday, July 4th garbage service will be changed that week as follows,” said Standridge.

“No service on Monday, July 4th. Monday, July 4th and Tuesday, July 5th customers will be serviced on Tuesday, July 5th. Regular schedule resumes on Wednesday, July 6th.”
