Allen- Johnson Engagement

Ben and Gale Allen, of West Memphis, announce the engagement of their daughter Laura Michelle Allen to Jesse Carlton Johnson, also of West Memphis.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Helen Boals of West Memphis and the late Al Boals and Betty Allen, also of West Memphis and the late Bennie Allen.

She is a 2000 graduate of West Memphis High School and a 2006 graduate of Arkansas State University, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. She is a material handler for FedEx Express.

The prospective groom is the son of James and Faye Johnson of Marion, and the late Roslyn Bruce Johnson Kilbanoff. His grandparents are the late Travis and Lela Bruce and the late Eddie and Opal Johnson.

Jesse was a 1996 graduate of West Memphis High School and attended Mid-South Community College and Mississippi State University. He is a certified HVAC Educator at Tennessee College of Applied Technology of Memphis and owner of AXpert Air & Heat of West Memphis.

The couple plan to wed on Saturday, June 25, at 4 p.m., at First Baptist Church in Marion, followed by a reception at Great River Lodge.
