Jimmy “Big Jim” Bailes, 66, of Turrell, died on Friday, May 27, 2016.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Nolan Bailes and Vietta Lute Bailes; four sisters, Lucille Asberry, Francis Porterfield, Rosie Bailes and Dorothy Raymond; and a brother, Richard Bailes.

Survivors include a brother, Aubrey Bailes (Linda) of Turrell; four nieces, Tammy Morgan (Tom), Betty Jo Palmer (Flip) Leigh Ann Kline (Jim) and Sissy Porterfield (Bo); a nephew, Jackie Porterfield; as well as many other family members and friends.

The visitation will be held at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in West Memphis on Thursday, June 23, from 10 to 11 a.m. A memorial service to follow, beginning at 11 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in his honor may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation; the Humane Society or to the charity of the donor’s choice.

Kathren S. Barrett

Kathern S. Barrett, 65, of Marion, passed away on Wednesday, June 15, 2016. She was of the Catholic faith and a member of the Eastern Star.

She is survived by her daughters, Regina Campbell and Dequita Simmons; her grandchildren, Chance Webb, Christian Manley, Kaitlyn Simmons, Robin Flemming, Steven Webb, Jamie Simmions, Hunter Hill, Sara Ford and Lexi Gains; three greatgrandchildren; her mother, Ruthie Ella Barrett; and three sisters, Docia York, Dequita Barrett and Sally Tatum.

She is preceded in death by her father, W. W. Barrett; a daughter, Sari Kiekush; a brother, David Barrett; and a sister, Shari Gilbert.

A visitation will be held at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home on Friday, June 17 from 2:30 until 3:30 p.m. with the service beginning at 3:30 p.m.

Interment will follow at Crittenden Memorial Park.

Mildred Earlene Brooks

Mildred Earlene Brooks, 75, of Earle, passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2016.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Brooks; and her parents, O’Neal and Voica Thorn.

She is survived by her son, Dewayne Brooks (Lisa) of Earle; her three daughters, Monica Duke (Larry) of England, Wendy Hamrick (Robbie) of Marion and Kristi Ragan (Gary) of Marion; seven grandchildren, Josh Brooks, Taylie Hooten, Hunter Mills, Jordan Hamrick, Hunter Ragan, Clay Brooks, Ally Hamrick; four great-grandchildren, Lilly Brooks, Gage Hooten, Jase Mills, Aubrie Hooten, with one on the way; one sister, Irene Rouse of Malden, Missouri; and one brother, Dexter Thorn (Nancy) of Hughes.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.

Visitation will be on Sunday, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Roller Citizens Funeral Home.

Services will be on Monday, at 10 a.m. at Roller Citizens Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion.

Jesse Holloway

Jesse Holloway, 85, of Bay, formerly of West Memphis, passed from this life Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at St. Bernards Medical Center.

He was born August 8, 1930 in Trumann to the late Horace and Mary Holloway. Jesse was a member of Broadway Ave. Baptist Church in Bay.

He enjoyed watching the St.

Louis Cardinals and the Arkansas Razorbacks basketball team. Jesse also enjoyed fishing, but most of all he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Jesse was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Holloway; two brothers, Hubert Holloway, Billy Joe Holloway; two sisters, Betty Lynn Holloway and Velma Morgan.

Survivors include his two sons, Dennis (Fabrienne) Holloway of Marion and Ricky Holloway of West Memphis; four grandchildren, Jennifer (Wesley) Nettles of St. Louis, Missouri, Byron (Becky) Holloway of Marion, Leslie (Carl) Barnes of Marion, Richard (Jennifer) Holloway of West Memphis and 12 great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be Monday, June 20, at 10 a.m.

in Emerson Memorial Chapel with Rick Jensen officiating.

Burial will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 9 to 10: a.m. prior to the service.

Susan Muncy

Susan Muncy, 52, of West Memphis, passed away on Tuesday, June 14, 2016.

She was the Senior Financial Services Representative at First Community Bank in Marion. Her generosity and kindness touched the lives, and bellies, of everyone she encountered. She was a member of Altrusa, an active volunteer with March of Dimes for over 20 years, and helped with numerous other charities.

She is survived by her husband, John Muncy; her son, Austin Muncy; her daughter, Kristen Muncy; her father, Bert Smith; two sisters, Teresa Bergen and Renee Scanlon.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Janie Smith and her mother-in-law and fatherin- law, Peggy and Harold Muncy.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 18, at 5 p.m.
