West Memphis Police Chief Donald Oakes (right) offers congratulations to Shane Edwards, promoted to Sergeant Tuesday morning. Edwards will be assigned to the WMPD’s Uniform Patrol Division. “We are proud to have Sgt. Edwards as a member of the West Memphis Police Department,” said Chief Oakes.
