Summer reading program at Woolfolk Library

Plenty for kids to do at Marion Branch

news@theeveningtimes.com

There are a lot of things happening this summer at the Woolfolk Public Library in Marion. In addition to our regular Tuesday morning story time hour at 10 a.m. for ages 2 through 5, we have added a second story time at 11 a.m. for ages 6 and up for the children out of school for the summer.

Our summer events calendar is filled with lots of fun with visits from Co-Motion Studio this Thursday, June 16, Magic Mr. Nick on June 23, Marshall Mitchell with his Cowboy Songs on June 28, and rounding out the month is STEM – Robotics on June 30. Stop by the library and sign up for the events because space is limited and slots are filling up fast! Also, check out the events lined up for July for more summer fun.

For the adults, a few of the new books being released this month include “Bay of Sighs” by Nora Roberts, “Foreign Agent” by Brad Thor, “Dishonorable Inten- tions” by Stuart Woods and book three of Stephen King’s Bill Hodges Trilogy “End of Watch.” We also offer eBooks and will be happy to get you set up to download books on your electronic devices.

Come visit Woolfolk Public Library at 100 North Currie St., in Marion, Arkansas. Our summer hours are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Call the Woolfolk Public Library at (870) 739-3238 for further information.
