Lee Henry Jackson, 80, was last seen Friday June 8, and is still missing.

West Memphis Police, along with family and neighborhood friends are hoping that someone has seen Jackson and can provide information that will lead to his whereabouts and safe return.

A ‘Silver Alert’ has been issue for Jackson, who has been diagnosed with dimentia. West Memphis Police say he was last seen Friday morning around 11 a.m., when he left a home in the 700 block of Purdue Avenue in West Memphis.

Jackson was driving a beige 2000 Buick Century, with Arkansas License Plate number 390 NLI. He was wearing a green shirt and khaki pants.

After an initial search failed to locate Jackson, the WMPD is asking for community residents to be on the lookout for him or his vehicle.

“We are currently working with the Crittenden County Sheriff’s Office, Arkansas State Police, St. Francis County Sheriff’s Office and Arkansas Game and Fish to search an area around the Shell Lake exit on I-40.

Shell Lake is a rural area on the far west side of Crittenden County. We have reliable information that Mr. Jackson was in this area as recently as late yesterday afternoon. This is a largely rural area with numerous farm and county roads some of which get very little traffic”, said Captain Joe Baker. “We would like to ask the citizens living near this location to please be aware that Mr. Jackson may be in this area and may be confused and disoriented.”

Anyone with any information that might lead to locating Jackson is urged to call the West Memphis Police Department at (870) 735-1210.
