Slots still remaining for DeltaARTS’ Educator Workshop

Aesthetic Education seminar to be held June 27- 29

DeltaARTS A few slots are still available for DeltaARTS' beloved three-day celebration of teaching and learning in and through the arts. The Aesthetic Education Workshop, which will be held June 27, 28, and 29, at the Academies of West Memphis Performing Arts Center, is open to teachers of all subject areas, administrators, and teaching artists.

DeltaARTS Educator Workshop offers educators an opportunity to gain skills in implementing the Lincoln Center aesthetic education inquiry-based approach to teaching and learning, a research-based approach initially rooted in the study of works of art and four main concepts: art-making, questioning, reflection, and contextual research.

This participatory experience will inspire educators to stimulate creative conceptual thinkers prepared for the world beyond the classroom. DeltaARTS Educator Workshop aligns with the Arkansas Department of Education Professional Development criteria.
