• Dominion World Outreach Ministries – The Arkansas Criminal Justice System research group will be holding a meeting at the church, 3700 I-55 Service Rd. N., in Marion, on racial disparity, at 6 p.m., on Thursday June 2. The event is free and the public is invited.

– Qualified individuals will receive food distribution June 3 at a new location, the Marion Sports Complex. The location is no longer Marion Baptist.

• The West Memphis School District – Will destroy 20102011 special education records for students who were dismissed from special education or graduated during the 2010-2011 school year. The student or custodial parents interested in picking up records will need to contact Paula Rose-Greer, Special Education Director at (870)732-8555 before June 30th. Records may be picked up at 410 W. Tyler, Suite B from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Proof of identity is required.

• West Memphis Class of 1964 70th Birthday Bash – Beginning Friday, June 3 at 6 p.m. at Panchos Mexican Restaurant in the back party room. Buffet meal $16 a person. Saturday, June 4 at the Country Club beginning at 6 p.m. for visiting. Meal at 7 p.m. DJ at 8 until 11:30 or so. $40 per person. Other classmates are also invited. • Small Fry Triathlon – Brunetti Field in Marion on Saturday, June 4 from 9 a.m. until noon. A great race for kids ages 2-6! The athletes will run 25 yards, bike/trike 50 yards and “swim” through water spray for 10 yards. Each racer gets a racing bib, T-shirt and gold medal. $20 per child, after May 27th $25 per child. • Notice of Marion Special Education Records to be destroyed – Records that are five years old will be destroyed. If your child was receiving special education services during the school year 2009-2010, you have the right to review and request copies of these records before they are destroyed. • Water Use Reporting For 2015 – The Crittenden Conservation District is now registering irrigation wells for usage on farms for 2015. As a registered water user you are protecting your rights to the use of an equitable amount of surface water in times of shortage and to establish ground water rights within critical areas. Act of 154 of 1991 requires users of ground and surface water be assessed an annual fee in the amount of $10 per well and relift site. Act 408 of 1989 provides for the collection of a late registration penalty. Any person who fails to register a well or relift site by the deadline shall be subject to a penalty for each year they fail to register. April 1 is $25 late fee. • DHS Division of Aging and Adult Services Seeking Delegates – Seeking Arkansans who are at least 60 years old to volunteer to serve as delegates on the 20th Biennial Silver Haired Legislative Session taking place on Aug. 17-18.
