• Road Kill Report – J. J. Abernathy with Arkansas Game & Fish Commission asks that anyone seeing dead deer call to report at 1-800482-9262 now through May 20th. The agency is testing for chronic wasting disease.

• Crittenden County LEPC Meeting – This month’s meeting has been canceled. The next meeting will be June 28th at 10:30 a.m.

• Earle Historical Celebration Program, Awards Ceremony and Fish Fry – Saturday May 21 at the Earle High School Gymnasium and Cafeteria from 1 to 4 p.m. To salute the High School and Middle School Award Winning Girls and Guys Basketball State Champs, District Champs and Regional Champs. Earle High School Parent Meeting – Informational meeting for the 2016-2017 school year on Tuesday, May 24 in the Earle High School Cafetorium. Asking ALL Parents, Guardians, Stakeholders and Well Wishers of the students of Earle High School to be in attendance.

Arkansas State University Degree Center – Offering admission, advising, and scholarship information/assistance for students interested in attending Arkansas State University-Jonesboro on the ASU Mid-South campus. Students can major in Criminology, Business, Nursing, or Education and live locally. 10 a.m. at the Crittenden County Courthouse. Registration will begin at 9:30 a.m. A catalog of tax delinquent lands can be found at www.cosl.org. Delinquent property owners may call 501324-9422 to request a Petition to Redeem or they may look up the delinquent parcel on the COSL website and print it from there.

• Memorial Services – VFW Post 5225 will present services honoring our veterans at Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion on Monday, May 30. Service begins at 8:30 a.m. and is open to the public.

• West Memphis Holiday Sanitation Schedule – No service Monday, May 30th. Monday, May 30th and Tuesday, May 31st customers will be serviced on Tuesday, May 31st. Regular schedule resumes on Wednesday, June 1.

• Hope House – Qualified individuals will receive food distribution June 3 at a new location, the Marion Sports Complex. The location is no longer Marion Baptist.
