Carletta Gail Harris, 58, of West Memphis, passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2016, at Methodist University Hospital. Visitation is scheduled from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Wolfe Brothers Funeral Home. Services Saturday 11 a.m. at Christ Missionary MBC in Memphis with burial in Paradise Garden Cemetery. She leaves one daughter Bernetta Harris of West Memphis; her father Arthur Harris and mother Earline Harris both of West Memphis; one sister Linda Harris of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; and a brother.

Helen Cook Hicks
Helen Cook Hicks, 84, of Millington, Tennessee, and formerly of West Memphis, died on Tuesday, May 17, 2016, at Methodist North Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.
Helen was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 29 years, Marshall Eugene Hicks; by her parents, William Claude Cook and Ethel Mitchusson Cook; and by one sister.
Survivors include two daughters, Debbie Hicks Cantrell and Tracy Hicks Woodward both of Millington, Tennessee; three grandchildren and four greatgrandchildren.

Samuel Earl Roe
Samuel Earl Roe, 81, of Hughes was born in Ward, Arkansas to Oscar and Susie Aline (Milam) Roe on April 13, 1935, and he died May 16, 2016.
He was a member of First Baptist Church of Hughes and retired from the Wonder Bread Company.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn of Hughes; son, Michael R. Roe and wife Gwen of Weiner, Arkansas; daughter, Susan LaGuire of Morehead, Kentucky; step daughter, Ruthie Sexton of West Memphis, Arkansas and Aleitha Gray of Knoxville, Tennessee; eleven grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; one brother, Gary Roe of Imperial, California.
Family requests memorials be made in his name to a charity of choice.
Family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Roller Citizens Funeral Home in West Memphis. Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 21, 2016, at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home in Beebe, Arkansas with burial in Monk Cemetery.

Mattie Lee Scott
Mattie Lee Scott, 75, of Turrell, passed away Saturday, May 14, 2016, at her residence. Visitation is scheduled for Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church in Turrell, with services at 11 a.m., also at Macedonia MBC in Turrell. Wolfe Brothers Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
She leaves two daughters, Donna Halliburton of Luxora and Sandra Thomas of Flint, Michigan; three sons, Donnie Scott of Flint, Michigan, Billy Scott of Turrell and Samuel Scott of Pontiac, Michigan; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Summer Dawn Sechrest
Summer Dawn Sechrest, 25, of West Memphis, died on Tuesday, May 17, 2016.
She was preceded in death by her father, Bradley Carroll Sechrest, Sr.; by her grandparents, Jimmy and Dorothy Wright and also by her greatgrandmother, Susan Bolinger. Survivors include her son, Brody Lee Lenox; her mother, Sharon Wright (Rich Busby) of Marion; two sisters: Scarlet Beggs (Michael) of Marion, and Sienna Gordon (Chris Morgan) of West Memphis; a brother, Bradley Carroll Sechrest, Jr. (Charlotte) of West Memphis; two nieces: Ella Beggs and Ava Garza; a nephew, Brayden Stonebreaker; and grandparents, Ness and Carolyn Sechrest.
Summer was a loving mother and a kind hearted lover of her family and of God. She was a friend to all and never met a stranger. She laughed hard and loved deeply. Her contagious smile and caring personality will be cherished by all who knew her.
A memorial service will take place at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in West Memphis on Friday, May 20, beginning at 7 p.m.

Vuler Mae Smith

She leaves three daughters, Carolyn Smith and Sherry Moore of West Memphis and Rita Smith of Memphis, Tennessee; five sons, Calvin Smith of San Diego, California, Vent Smith of Memphis, Otis Smith and Christopher Smith of West Memphis and Kenneth Smith of Jonesboro; 23 grandchildren, a host of great-grandchildren and a host of greatgreat- grandchildren.
James Earl Stewart, 54, of West Memphis passed away Saturday, May 14, 2016, in West Memphis. Visitation is scheduled for Friday from 6 to 8 p.m., at Wolfe Brothers Funeral Home. Services Saturday 11 a.m. at 2nd St.
John Church with burial in Mound City Cemetery.
He leaves his companion, Patricia Wilson of West Memphis; two daughters, Cameron Steward and Carmen Stewart both of West Memphis; four sisters; and six brothers.
