4-H Vet Club meets Youngsters get expert insight

Crittenden County 4-H Veterinary Science Club held their monthly meeting Tuesday, April 5, with guest speaker Dr. Stevens, DVM. After a short business meeting led by President Chandler B. Dr.

Stevens spoke to the club about his experience as a veterinarian. The club was excited to hear that Dr.

Stevens grew up as an active 4-H member showing beef cattle in Mississippi. Dr. Stevens brought vials filled with bladder stones, heartworms, whipworms, and tapeworms to show to the club members. The club members had a lot of questions and Dr. Stevens was gracious enough to answer them all.
