OBITUARIES

Mr. Donald Ray Cordell, age 64 of Heth, passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at his home. Mr. Cordell was born Sept. 30, 1951, in Heth, Arkansas and was the son of the late Bob Ray and Hester Alice Ruffin Cordell. Mr. Cordell enjoyed fishing and hunting.

He is survived by his wife Peggy Cordell; two daughters, Jennifer Ray and husband Gregg of Horseshoe Lake and Amanda Hart and husband Billy of Portia, Arkansas; sisters, Joyce Meador of Heth, Audrey Wright and husband Jerry of Heth and Bobby Jean Coleman of Heth; first born grandchild, Brian Hillis; nine grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one nephew, Billy “Bubba” Coleman.

The family has requested a private service and disposition under the direction of Faith Funeral Service of Manila, Arkansas.

Billy Auther Henry

Mr. Billy Auther Henry died Monday, May 9, 2016, in El Paso, Texas, at the age of 60.

Billy was born in Wynne, Arkansas on Oct. 12, 1955, to Buster and Bernice Henry. He was a long haul truck driver.

Survivors are his mother, Bernice Shoumake Ray; children, Billy Henry, Jr. and Michael Lynn Henry of Durham Springs, Louisiana and Courtney Paige Elliott of Lamar, Missouri; brothers, Roger Henry of Earle, Arkansas, Marvin Rogers of Hughes, and Marion Henry 'Weasle' of Crookston, Minnesota; sisters, Betty Harvison of Earle, Glenda Adams of Smithville, Mississippi, Brenda Wilborn of Hughes, Marsha Dial of Smithville, Mississippi, Sylvia Jones of Trumann, Emmer Driskill of Trumann, and Tammy Campbell of Manila; 10 grandchildren and one on the way. He was preceded in death by his father, Buster Henry.

Visitation will be Sunday, 1 until 2 p.m. at Kernodle Funeral Home Chapel with funeral services following at 2 p.m. Burial will follow in Tyronza Cemetery in Tyronza, Arkansas.

Sandra G. Meurrier

Sandra G. Meurrier, 58, of Hughes, passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2016.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dewey and Gaynelle Lang.

She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Joe Kuhron Meurrier of Hughes; her three sons, Turner Meurrier (Melanie) of Hughes, Nick Meurrier (Rachael) of Nashville, Tennessee and Ron Meurrier (Michelle) of Lodi, California; her daughter, Tracy Long (Darryle) of Marion; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and her two brothers, Bobby Lang (Teresa) of Las Vegas, Nevada and Gary Lang of Phoenix, Arizonia.

Memorials may be made to the Hughes Methodist Church in Hughes, AR.

Visitation will be on Saturday, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Hughes Methodist Church. Services will be at 11 a.m. with interment following at Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion.

Darlene Spencer, 42, of Earle, passed away Monday, May 9, 2016. Visitation tonight from 6 to 8 p.m., at Wolfe Brothers Funeral Home. Services have been changed to Saturday at 3 p.m. also at Wolfe Brothers Funeral Home.
