• Fenter Physical Therapy 5K benefiting CrittCo YL – Saturday, May 14 race starts at 9 a.m. Registration open at 8 a.m. at the Marion Town Square. $25 by May 13/$30 day of race. Proceeds go towards Crittenden County Young Life, a non-profit, nondenomination outreach to local teens. • Road Kill Report – J. J. Abernathy with Arkansas Game & Fish Commission asks that anyone seeing dead deer call to report at 1-800482-9262 now through May 20th. The agency is testing for chronic wasting disease.

• Earle Historical Celebration Program, Awards Ceremony and Fish Fry – Saturday May 21 at the Earle High School Gymnasium and Cafeteria from 1 to 4 p.m. To salute the High School and Middle School Award Winning Girls and Guys Basketball State Champs, District Champs and Regional Champs. • Tax Delinquent Land Sale Scheduled – A public auction for the sale of tax delinquent land in Crittenden County will be held Thursday, May 26 at 10 a.m. at the Crittenden County Courthouse. Registration will begin at 9:30 a.m. A catalog of tax delinquent lands can be found at www.cosl.org. Delinquent property owners may call 501324-9422 to request a Petition to Redeem or they may look up the delinquent parcel on the COSL website and print it from there.
