Dora Davis of Marion passed away Sunday, May 8, 2016 at her residence. Visitation is scheduled for Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Wolfe Brothers Funeral Home. Services Saturday, 1 p.m. also at Wolfe Brothers with burial in Marion Memorial Cemetery.

She leaves her companion, Garfield White Jr.; a daughter, Willie Francis Fisher of Minneapolis, Minnesota and a step-daughter Felecia Davis of Jonesboro; one son, Cornelious Davis of Jonesboro; nine sisters, Annie Mae Davis of Marion, Virginia Davis of Cordova, Tennessee; Ada Lee Pledge, Gloria Settle, Alcora Tate and Callie Fane all of Memphis, Floriasteen Johnson of Southaven, Mississippi, Dorothy Tellis of Charleston, Mississippi and Nicole Andrews of Marked Tree; six brothers, Sylvester Davis of Luxora, Leo Davis and Leon Davis of Memphis, Richard Davis of Cordova, Tennessee, Lewis Simmons and Earnest Simmons of Charleston, Mississippi; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Kenneth Gibbs

Kenneth Gibbs, 85, of Marked Tree died Tuesday, May 10, 2016, at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro.

Mr. Gibbs was a member of the First Baptist Church of Tyronza, a 32nd-degree Mason and a member of Elm Lodge 766, and a retired farmer.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille Franks Gibbs; his parents, Comer and Bertha Lucille Gibbs; and a brother, O’Neal Gibbs.

He is survived by two daughters Debbie Crow (Jimmy) of Maumelle and Brenda Jones (Bobby) of Marion; a son Jerry Gibbs of Marion; four sisters, Mable Wood of Waterloo, Alabama, Vera Owen of Hot Springs Village, Betty Bruce of Oakland, Tennessee and Sandra May of Vilonia; two brothers, Franklin Gibbs and Hershel Gibbs both of Marked Tree; five grandchildren, Tara Nelson, Amy Crow, Heather Moye, Casey Fox and Katie Edings; four great-grandchildren, Bradley Ellison, Austin Johnson, Nicholas Monroe and Amelia Fox.

Visitation will be from 1 until service time at 2 p.m. on Friday, May, 13, 2016 at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in West Memphis with burial following at Tyronza Cemetery in Tyronza, Arkansas.

Vester Jones

Vester Jones of West Memphis, passed away Tuesday, May 2, 2016. He was a detailer at Ford of West Memphis. Visitation is scheduled for Friday, from 5 to 7 p.m., at Wolfe Brothers Funeral Home. Services Saturday at 11 a.m., at Wolfe Brothers Chapel.

He leaves two daughters, Donna Henry of Kansas City and Nicole Wright of Memphis; and one son, Daniel Jones of West Memphis.

Ernest Lawrence Skeen

Ernest Lawrence Skeen, 71, of Hughes, passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2016.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Esma and Effie Skeen; one brother; and one sister.

He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Carolyn Skeen of Hughes; his son, Ernest “Larry” Skeen, Jr. (Tammy) of Greenville, Mississippi; two daughters, Rebecca Skeen and Renee Skeen both of Daleville, Alabama; one sister, Elsie Boozer of Marietta, Georgia; and one brother, Edward Skeen (Imogene) of Garland, Texas.

Visitation will be on Friday, from 9 to 10 a.m., at Roller Citizens Funeral Home with services at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion.

Darlene Spencer

Darlene Spencer, 42, of Earle, passed away Monday, May 9, 2016. She was a homemaker. Visitation is scheduled for Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Wolfe Brothers Funeral Home. Services Saturday at 11 a.m. also at Wolfe Brothers Funeral Home.

She leaves her husband, Terry Austin; four daughters, Niquita Smith of West Memphis, Shaniqua Spencer, Quealun Spencer and Miqueshia Smith of Earle; her mother, Dorothy Biggs of Forrest City; four sisters; five brothers; and eight grandchildren.
