Ora Dell Austin

Ora Dell Austin, 90, of Proctor, died Sunday, April 17, 2016, in Salisbury, North Carolina. Visitation Friday, April 22 from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Anthony Funeral Home State Room. Services Saturday, April 23, 12 noon in Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses on Airport Road South with burial in Paradise Garden Cemetery.

Sarah “Sis” Easley

Sarah “Sis” Easley, 80, of West Memphis passed away on Thursday, April 14, 2016, at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.

“Sis”, as she was affectionately called by many, was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Kim Buck Baker and Eva Lorene Cantrell Baker; also by her husband of 42 years, Paul Jack Easley; and by a brother, Melvin Baker.

Survivors include a daughter, Jackie Boatman (Mike) of West Memphis; a son, Paul Randall Easley (Suzanne) of Little Rock; a sister, Lina Hall; and two brothers, JT Baker (Judy) and Tom Baker (Alice), all of Alabama; three grandchildren, Paul Nathaniel Easley, Megan Boatman and Caitlin Boatman; a greatgrandchild, Jack Holden Easley; as well as many other friends and family members.

The visitation will be held at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in West Memphis on Saturday, April 23, 2016 from 1 to 2 p.m. with the funeral service to follow at 2 p.m. Interment will then take place at Harris Chapel Cemetery in Wynne with a committal service at 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in her honor may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Mr. Willie A. Hammett

Mr. Willie A. Hammett, 68, affectionately known as ‘Mr. Willie’ was born on November 26,1947 to Bill Hammett, Sr. and Harriett Floyd Hammett in Adams County. He departedº this life on Sunday, April 10, 2016, along with his beloved dog Fe in Marion, Arkansas.

Willie was preceded in death by his parents, Harriett and Bill, Sr.; brothers, John, Sandy and Bill; sisters, Barbara and Vertis; and granddaughter Dakotah De’Emory Hammett.

He enlisted into the United States Army and served in the Vietnam War. After his discharge, he became a UPS driver for 35 years. He served on the Blytheville City Council representing Ward 3.

He leaves behind his wife of 46 years, Fredericka Hammett; five children, Andre (Lakeisha) Hammett, Kerry Smith, Daryl (Kathy), Harriett Hammett and Desmond (La’Toya) Hammett; and sixteen grandchildren Memorial Services will be held at Anthony Funeral Home South Chapel, Saturday, April 23, 2016 at 11 a.m. in West Memphis. Repast at The Cedars in Marion.

Fannie M. Moody

Fannie M. Moody, 75, of Marion, passed away Saturday, April 16, 2016, at Methodist University Hospital. Services Saturday, 11 a.m. at Beautiful Zion Church with burial in Paradise Garden Cemetery. Wolfe Brothers Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

She leaves two daughters, Cassandra Hill of Bartlett, Tennessee and Jacqulyn Person of Hephzibah, Georgia; three sons, Thomas Hubbard and Patrick Moody both of West Memphis and Daniel Moody III of Frisco, Texas; three sisters, Jo Ann Washington of Memphis, Ruby Curties of West Memphis and Jessie Dickson of St. Louis, Missouri; 14 grandchildren and eight greatgrandchildren.

Stanley Moss

Stanley Moss of Memphis, formerly of West Memphis died at the VA Hospital on Monday, April 18, 2016. He was 67.

Mr. Moss is survived by his wife, Shelia; two sons, Brandon (Elizabeth) of Atoka, Tennessee; and a Nick of Hawaii; a brother, Thomas Moss of Corinth, Mississippi. He also had two grandchildren, Justin and Jason.

Visitation will be held at Collierville First Assembly on Friday at 11 a.m. with services to follow at noon. Mr. Moss will be transferred to Tuscumbia Baptist Church Cemetery in Corinth, Mississippi for burial at 3 p.m. Flowers may be sent to Collierville First Assembly on Friday.

Mr. Calvin White

Mr. Calvin White, 62, of Heth, passed away Monday, April 18, 2016 at his residence. Visitation is scheduled for Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Mt. Pisgah Church in Crawfordsville. Services Saturday, 11 a.m. at Mt. Beulah MBC in Earle with burial in Russell Cemetery in Earle. Wolfe Brothers Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

He leaves his wife, Mary White of Heth; four daughters, Mary Craft and Krystal White of West Memphis, Tina Wallace of Earle and Felisha Walker of Crawfordsville; his father Mr. Ira White of Crawfordsville; four sisters Laura White of Kansas City, Missouri, Pearlie Lathon of Crawfordsville, Michelle Galbert of Marion and Vickie Best of Jacksonville; four brothers, Ira White Jr. of Marion, Gregory White of Memphis, Jeffery White of Little Rock and Elvis White of Crawfordsville; and 15 grandchildren.
