Exxon makes donation for science

Avondale Elementary School has received a $500 grant from the Exxon Mobil Educational Alliance Program to support the school’s math and science endeavors. Nimocks Oil Company/Circle N Market worked with school officials across the country served by Exxon or Mobil stations. The grants were made possible by funding from the Exxon Mobil Corporation. Nimocks Oil Company is proud to have the opportunity through this grant program to invest in the educational future of the communities it serves. To date, over $67,000 has been given to area schools since the inception of this program. The grant will be used by Gifted and Talented teacher Leah Schmidt in the Science Lab.
