Sunday’s Memphis-Colorado Springs game postponed
Inclement weather forecasted to remain through the weekend
By Michael Schroeder COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – After Saturday’s game between Memphis and Colorado Springs was postponed earlier today due to inclement weather, Sunday’s game has also been postponed as the forecast remains similar through the weekend.
Sunday’s game will be made up on a to-be-determined date during Memphis’ return to Colorado Springs June 21-24. The two teams are scheduled to play a seven-inning doubleheader on Monday beginning at 5:05 p.m. (CT) to make up Saturday’s postponement.
Memphis (5-4) won the series opener Friday night in come-frombehind fashion, trailing on three separate occasions and scoring seven runs in the final four innings. It was Memphis’ third-straight victory after losing the three previous contests.
