Lady Blue Devils notch non-con win at home

West Memphis slams Osceola

WM School District Meagan Smith pitched and slugged the West Memphis Lady Devil softball team to an easy 22-5 victory Thursday over Osceola at Tilden Rodgers Complex.

Smith, the winning pitcher, went two-for-two at the plate with three RBI and two runs scored. But she was far from the only star for the Lady Devils.

Kassidy Pardy enjoyed a 3-for-3 day with a walk and a double, three RBI, three runs scored and two stolen bases. Morgan Albers was also 3-for-3 with six RBI and two runs scored.

Kasey Ashcraft and Hannah Boozer drew three bases on balls and scored three times each for West Memphis.

And Eva Pouncey struck out four in relief and went 2-for-3 at he plate.

Afterward, the West Memphis junior varsity squad picked up a 4-0 shutout victory over Osceola.
