UAPB Lion Fever Day (College Fair, campus tours, scholarships) – will be held on April 1, 2016 in Pine Bluff. The UAPB Crittenden County Alumni Chapter will provide transportation to Pine Bluff. – The annual “Investing in the Future” Patriot Pride 5K is set for Saturday, April 2 at Marion Junior High School arena parking lot at 9 a.m. The event is a fundraiser for scholarships for MHS Teachers of Tomorrow and Health Occupations Students of America. • Interceding Christian Center Love Month – Free clothing, food, drink, household items and entertainment from a local artist Saturday, April 2, April 9 and April 23, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Autumn and Walker Streets, West Memphis.

• 25th Annual Twenty Pearls Scholarship Pageant – Saturday, April 2 at the Clarion Hotel Convention Center in West Memphis at 6 p.m. Sponsored by Pi Chi Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority. Theme ‘Twenty-Five Years – A Silver Salute of Cultured Pearls.’ Stormy Taylor of WDIA Radio Station, Mistress of Ceremonies. Tickets are $10. For information call 870-733-0579.

• Arkansas State University Degree Center – Offering admission, advising, and scholarship information/assistance for students interested in attending Arkansas State University-Jonesboro on the ASU Mid-South campus. Students can major in Criminology, Business, Nursing, or Education and live locally. The L.R. Jackson Girls Club, Inc.– Is now taking applications for Summer Enrichment Camp. We offer low rates. Breakfast, Lunch and Snack are provided. Summer Hours of Operation: Monday – Friday 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Ages 512- boys and girls are welcomed.
