John Houston Goe
John Houston Goe, 89, of West Memphis, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2016. He was born January 17, 1927 at Kensett, Arkansas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, A.B.
and Bertha Goe; his brothers, Henry, Arthur, Billy; and his sister, Mary Jones; and his granddaughter, Tara Boland.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Mary Lynn Goe; a daughter, Donna Yandell; granddaughter, Shanna Shirreffs (Erik); sisters Lucy Hatton and Betty Collins; and one brother, Danny; and six great-grandchildren, Kaylee and Paige Shirreffs and Jack, Rachel, Tom and Sam Boland.
He was a Navy Veteran of World War II. He retired from Guaranty Loan in 1992 having served as president. He served on Crittenden Memorial Hospital Board Trustees from 1976 to 1992.
He was president of West Memphis Rotary Club 1978 to 1979, president of the West Memphis Chamber of Commerce 1980 to 1981. He was a member of Bellevue Baptist Church and Truth Seekers Life Group.
Visitation will be from 12 to 2 p.m. at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 23 with graveside services at 2:30 p.m. at Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion.

Chester “Pete” Hampton
Chester “Pete” Hampton, 83, of Fayetteville passed away March 21, 2016 in Fayetteville.
He was born July 6, 1933 in Magnolia. Visitation at Roller-Citizen Funeral Home in West Memphis on March 24th from 6 to 8 p.m.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. on Friday the 25th at Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion.
He is survived by his wife, Pat; three children, nine grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Joey Smith
Joey Smith, 53, of Marion died Friday, March 18, 2016 at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis.
Mr. Smith was a member of Saint Michael’s Catholic Church and was the Boiler Terminal Operator for American Commercial Lines. He was preceded in death by his father, Dick Smith; and a brother, Ricky Smith.
He is survived by his wife, Sadonna Smith of Marion; two daughters, Mary Morgan Smith and Taylor Lynn Smith of Marion; his mother Tina Smith of Marion; a brother, Cookie Smith of West Memphis.
Visitation will be from 12 p.m. until service time at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in West Memphis with burial following at Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion.
