The City of Marion was recently named a finalist for a Henry Award, at the 42nd Arkansas Governor’s Conference on Tourism, held March 13-15 in Springdale. The Henry Awards are given each year to individuals and organizations in celebration of Arkansas’ heritage. Marion was recognized for its commemoration of the Sultana Disaster 150th anniversary and continued efforts to promote the Sultana and its legacy.
