Bloated Bayou

Steady rains had the 10-Mile Bayou and many of the city’s other drainage ditches swollen Thursday afternoon. On West Barton (left), water came bubbling up from a manhole cover as the system worked overtime to handle the deluge. Rain is expected to continue today and over the weekend.
