Martha Ann Gilmer

OBITUARIES

Martha Ann Gilmer, 50, of West Memphis, passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2016, in Marion. Visitation is scheduled for Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Wolfe Brothers Funeral Home. Services Saturday 11 a.m. at 15th Street COGIC, West Memphis, with burial in Marion Memorial Cemetery. She leaves her husband, Charles Gilmer Sr., of Marion; two sons, Charles Gilmer Jr. of Mayflower and Aaron Gilmer of Marion; a sister, Lisa Hubbard of West Memphis; a brother, Judious Lewis of Little Rock; and four grandchildren.

Hattie Douglas Guy

Hattie Douglas Guy, 97, died Tuesday, March 1, 2016, in Methodist University Hospital. Visitation Friday, March 11 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Anthony-West Memphis Funeral Home Chapel North and Saturday, March 12 from 10 to 11 a.m. in New Mt. Zion M. B. Church, West Memphis. Service will follow at 11 a.m. in the church with burial in Paradise Garden Cemetery. She is survived by a daughter, Estella Guy of West Memphis; two sons, Rufus Guy and Clayborn Guy of West Memphis; 25 grandchildren; 53 great grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren.

Lula Mae Ross

Lula Mae Ross, 83, of Blytheville, passed away Saturday, March 5, 2016, at Methodist University Hospital. Visitation is scheduled for Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Promiseland COGIC with services Saturday at 10 a.m. also at Promiseland COGIC. Wolfe Brothers Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. She leaves five daughters, Catherine Boyce of Memphis, Loretta Delany of Blytheville, Pauline Ware of Lancaster, California, Brenda Hoy of Forrest City and Tiffany Johnson of Osceola; four sons, Henry Ross of Prescott, Harold Ross and Murry Ross both of Osceola and Floyd Ross of Levenworth, Kansas; six sisters, Corine Ware of Blytheville, Mordie Canada of Kansas City, Missouri, Morlina Wilson of Memphis, Berdia Johnson of Raytown, Missouri, Doris Johnson of Blytheville and Mammie Ruff of Osceola; two brothers, Lorenzo Danley of E. St. Louis, Missouri and Willie Danley of Blytheville; 50 grandchildren, 55 greatgrandchildren and five greatgreat grandchildren.

Elder Lonnie Turner

Elder Lonnie Turner, 60, of West Memphis, passed away Monday, March 7, 2016 at Methodist University Hospital. Visitation is scheduled for Saturday from 1to 2 p.m. at Promiseland COGIC with services following at 2 p.m. Burial in Whiteside Cemetery, Osceola. Wolfe Brothers Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Survivors include two daughters, Lakenya Howell of Marion and Michala Turner of West Memphis; three sons, Taurus Turner and Kuwane Turner both of West Memphis and Kamiah Turner of Southaven, Mississippi; five sisters, Lillie Fletcher, Marie Coleman, Lois Johnson and Felecia Houston all of Osceola and Patricia Davis of Memphis; six brothers, Nathaniel Turner and Patrick Turner of Osceola, Louis Turner and Larry Turner of Little Rock, Charles Davis and James Davis of Memphis; and seven grandchildren.

Willie C. Wright

Willie C. Wright, 59, of Detroit, Michigan, formerly of Hughes, passed away Friday, Feb. 26, 2016, in Detroit. Visitation is scheduled for Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Wolfe Brothers Funeral Home. Services Saturday 1 p.m. also at Wolfe Brothers with burial in Marion Memorial Cemetery. Survivors include one son, Willie Wright of Detroit; six sisters, Annette Wright and Ollie Mae Wright of West Memphis, Gloria Wright of California, Janie Mae Wright, Mary Wright and Carolyn Wright all of Detroit; six brothers, Jessie Wright of Dallas, Texas, Elbert Right of Detroit, Mack Wright of Bloomington, Illinois, James Wright and Jamie Wright of West Memphis and Lawrence Wright of Jacksonville.
